Definitely worth a read Littlewid - such an amazing woman and as you say happy and sad, what a shame for Pitou but that is life in the wild. At least he had 3 years of freedom. It just makes me realise how much animals should not be caged but should be free in the wild. Zoos are not all bad I am sure but I am not a keen supporter of them.

Thanks for the post - I am a huge fan of Born Free Foundation.
