Dorothy, Peregrine Falcon cam

I had problems with all the cams i checked on WE at times today, and then they all came on again - not sure what was going on, I thought maybe it was my computer.

Hopefully they'll all be up and running again tomorrow.

Checked the cam just now - all 5 are up and about and having a good flap of their wings.

The camera is very blurred so i haven't posted a photo but they have grown incredibly and they keep perching on the edge i hope they know what they are doing

Lai I was holding my breath when they were doing that the other night, but they must be able to fly because the 5th chick that was missing was reported to have flown back into the nest site, so their flying skills cant be too bad at the moment, but it still puts your heart in your mouth doesnt it especially as they are still moulting their baby feathers.

Dorothy's cam wasn't streaming yesterday but it is tonight, looks like all the chicks have fledge but you can still hear them so they must be near by, I will keep checking to see if they return.


They are so noisy they must be on the roof somewhere.

oh no we missed seeing them go - i wonder if they'll pop back to the nest from time to time?

I am hoping they will Lai. They are still around as you can hear them, they were making a right racket when I looked in, I can only guess as I said that they are on the roof above the nest, so hopefully they will come back to the nest occassionally, at least the cam is still streaming.

It all seems to happen so quickly, after weeks of watching the cams and the chicks growing - suddenly they've upped and gone As you say Littlewid there's hope if the cam is still streaming

Cam still streaming but no one around - not even a sound

Just had a look Lai, Dorothy is around but no chicks and no sound of them either, I wonder if Dorothy is just hanging around or if she is going to lay more eggs.....i'm not sure how frequently Peregrine Falcons Lay their eggs so soon after one clutch.
