I hope they do make them a protected species, it would be such a shame to loose them.

I agree, let's hope they can be protected, it would be a tragedy to lose them, and yet another species under threat.

I hate it when you read another species is 'on the decline'. Its like they say 'yeah we know they are becoming fewer, but we wait and see'. NO now is the time to stop and strategise BEFORE it is endangered, not wait and worry about it later!
