hi everyone
after nearly a year of not posting i thought i would pop back and say hi
my love for wild life has taken a bit of a back seat what ith always being at work and family comitments.

However yesterday my daughter and went took a stroll in the castle grounds and came across 7 canada geese with 16 youngsters ranging from little yellow fluffy balls to those just getting the main feathers
And i relised how much ive missed the local wildlife and just being out and about with my dogs in the great out doors

soooooo hopefully i shall be making a bit more time for me and indulge in a little bit of my passion

toodles for now

Hi Staffslass,

Great to hear from you again. Glad your managed to get the chance to take a stroll around the castle with your daughter, we all need a breather sometimes.

Its that time of year again when all the young birds appear. AM has started this years thread with Swan watch and has some lovely photos.

Have a good week and dont be a stranger.

Hi Staffslass

It's so nice to hear from you again, we have missed you. Life can get very busy can't it but it's good to hear you are going to make a little more time for yourself and enjoy all the local wildlife again.

How lovely to see all the little chicks with their mum, did you manage to get any pics? This is a lovely time of the year with all the baby birds. We have had lots of little fledglings here, four Blue Tits have been flying around out of the wisteria and having fun but i've been too late with the camera Embarassed

As SM says, don't be a stranger on the site we loved hearing about all your walks you went on.

I bet your daughter was thrilled to see the goslings, and dont take any notice of people giving funny looks, they dont know what fun is till they have lain in the grass taking Pics hello from staffs lass 40683
