That is disgusting and shocking - poor little hedgehog, what on earth did she do to deserve such a horrendous experience. People are just so sick. I hope the person who did it remembers what goes around comes around, a shot in their head and two broken legs (sorry bad karma to say that).

What a heart breaking story Chui. Hedgehogs are such inoffensive animals. I have no shame in saying I hope these sick, cruel idiots get what they deserve, whats the saying, an eye for an eye. I am a great believer in what goes around comes around, little Beryl will have the last laugh. She is obvioulsy a little fighter and it's good to hear she is eating well and making a slow recovery at Tiggywinkles.
I can never fathom out why people are so cruel to animals. Apart from the fact they have no heart and are also so weak they have to big themselves up on hurting defenseless animals.
