Cley reserve
These pictures are more for the "feel" of the place rather than just bird pictures

I love the Horned Poppy TB. It definiately looks like a place for genuine wildlife lovers......somewhere to go to drink in the beauty and peace of the place.

Re: Cley reserve
The shingle bank was broken through last winter(and the cafe was washed away too!).They have now decided not to repair it,but let the sea come in the gap, thus protecting the rest of the bank. The lagoons already have Samphire growing there, bit of a tip, cook it first as it tastes pretty disgusting raw(and you just know who tested it!)

Looks beautiful TB and probably a good idea not to rebuild the cafe.
I've not tried Samphire raw or cooked - but thanks for the tip

I really like that picture TB and I too am glad they are not rebuilding the cafe. Sometimes it is nice to have somewhere to get a cuppa but sometimes a place needs to be natural and this looks like one of them and it will protect the area too.

Re: Cley reserve
Sometimes its better to let nature take it's course, and if it protects the rest of the area, all the better. Thanks for the photo TB
