This is from the Telegraph today. It really is such good news for the bears, although it is not going to be imminently achieved. From the basis of the article it also sounds that although the middle class Chinese are now supporting more animal welfare, it seems as though there will still be oposition to closing the farms from the ones who still live in the dark ages.
For the bears I hope this comes sooner rather than later.

I really hope this is good news for the Bears LW, but as ever with the Chinese you have to wait to see if their actions match their words, as we have found out with Tigers.

Would be so great if they actually did put an end to these horrendous places but as WS rightly said if it's the Chinese you have to be kinda sceptical of it actually happening Crying or Very sad

There is no need for them AT ALL.

I think it is the Moon Bear foundation that lead this campaign.
