September Walks
Nero and I have just been on a little walk and I thought I would take a few pics of the Berries and Flowers, it's not easy holding a lead and taking pics but did me best
If you want to add pics to this thread from your September walks please feel free.
Nero in the sunshine.
These berries are really striking as you come round the corner, this pic doesn't do them justice really, they are so orange.
I think these next two are Magnolia.
These are hanging over the pavement like an umbrella and I think they are crab apples.
Not sure what these are but they are lovely and red.
These are growing out of a bush at the side of the road, they are so pretty.

Re: September Walks
Some lovely pics there LW. The colours of the berries and flowers are brilliant at the moment, arent they.
Nero looks different, from when I saw him last. Maybe it is the angle, but cute as every.

Re: September Walks
This was more of a September wander than a walk, at a friends Caravan 5 mins from where we live
I used to be able to climb one of these or was that in a previous life
A Sycamore seed pod still hanging on
Not sure what this plant is, but it looked nice with the water droplets
Some Bees busy collecting the last ot the nectar
Not sure of the species, but I'll try to check them out
They are really hard to focus on, and keep in view. I tried a short video of them

Re: September Walks
Lovely pics WS. Your Bee pics have come out well. They are hard to photograph aren't they. I remember trying to capture the ones in my garden on the wisteria, they bustle all over the place, no wonder they are called Busy Bees Love the video, it was nice to see them doing what they do best.......Buzzin' all over the place.
Not sure what the plant is with the rain drops on but I loved the picture

Re: September Walks
Oh sorry WS, I didn't mean to send you on a wild goose chase. I reckon it is a Buff tailed Bee, it's just that I hadn't heard of one before and I was just thinking it would be quite nice if it was called a Cotton Tail because of it's white bottom, it reminded me of a little rabbitt. Sorry WS.

Re: September Walks
WS and Littlewid - you two make me giggle. Lovely photos WS and the plant is an Alchermilla Mollis, looks very pretty with the raindrops on it.
So the bee is a Cotton Tail/Buff tail - whichever they were great photos.
