How wonderful that they are outside after all that time. It must look an amazing world to them. I wonder what they would feel if they saw a jungle habitat, although its to late for them now.
Thanks for posting LW, had'nt seen that

That was wonderful to see. They were a bit unsure as you would expect, but think they are probably having a ball right now. Great clip, thanks LW.

Glad you enjoyed it guy's. It made me smile too, almost to the point of tears, you could just imagine their amusement, bewilderment and sheer joy at being free

I have re read the story in yesterdays Daily Mail. The treatment they received was horendous. Kept isolated from each other in small cages for thirty years, brought me Mrs S, and some of my friends to tears. Thank heavens for Michael Aufhauser who found the funds to give a life of sorts at last. They can live till they are till they are 50 to 60 Years old. Lets hope they can at least enjoy the rest of their lives.
Some wonderful pics, and the Daily Mail Report

Re: Apes get to see daylight
It is an incredibly heartbreaking story isn't it WS but thankfully their lives will now be much happier. The trauma they have gone through is unimaginable and should never have happened and to make it worse it was all a fruitless exercise.
People put themselves up for paid drug testing but animals have no choice in the matter and for me it is totally wrong and unacceptable.
Lets hope these chimps can somehow put their past behind them and look forward to a much happier future and if the pics and videos are anything to go by, they are certainly trying too.
Thanks for the extra news WS.

A happier life for them all now, what great news. Sad that they had to endure years of trauma, but what a wonderful thing they are now out and enjoying some freedom.

I saw this too on the internet and felt very happy for them but sad that they had spent many years suffering, it should never have happened. sambuka
