You may have already read this elsewhere but I'm gonna post it anyway !! If there's one programme to watch and series link on Sky it this !!!!

It started last week and I spent much of the 2nd half Sad Thankfully it was not sad tears it was tears of joy. Watch this link :-

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZ-bJFVJ2P0

It's following Damein Aspinall releasing 3 x gorillas (and they are only little tooters ) back into the wild (Gabon) and obviously what happens. Last week was the first (on on a Tuesday) but it is repeated on Animal Planet on a Sunday at 7 & 7.30pm (two half hour programmes). Of course it will also be on AP +1 at 7.30 & 8pm. There are probably more repeats throughout the week.

If you watch the repeat on Sunday you'll only have missed 2 x ½ hour programmes and they do re-cap on the week before :)

You're welcome WS.

I just adore these animals and appalled that people could even think about killing them let alone actually doing it.

This is a fantastic project and I really hope they are successful in putting gorillas where they belong, in the wild Cool

HI Doogs, I finally caught up with this programme yesterday, what an amazing job they are doing.
I am so hoping they find the group that has hopefully gone into hiding after the episode with the poachers, I am praying it's not bad news.
Its a wonderful programme but also very poingnant at the same time. Looking forward to next weeks episode.

Glad you liked it LW, along with the 'Big Cats' I love the gorillas. I know the poachers get a lot of money from killing them but I just don't understand how they could, such a waste of a beautiful animal Sad

Doogs it's a great series I'm watching it and the last one was The Turning Point the one after they caught the poacher they could have been in serious trouble there with the poaching gang having automatic weapons.

Doogs I have a big passion for Gorillas and love to learn as much as possible about them, theres just something about Gorillas that grabs your heart.
And your right WS, the anti poaching team risk their lives to save the Gorillas, that was quite scary last night.

I'm with you there LW, just something about that is so cute and fascinating. Perhaps it's 'cause we don't see that much of them on the TV and when you do I find it just blows me away, they are amazing animals I love you

You could be right there Doogs, but I think they are also so vulnerable, people see them as big scary things when infact if left alone and respected they can be quite tolerant, they just protect their family and territory, which is only to be expected. They are also so intelligent and great thinkers, they just fascinate me in a huge way.

Doogs this programme continues to have me on the edge of my seat, Gorillas lost, Gorillas found, Gorillas possibly sick, introductions going well, introductions causing friction, the team being attacked, poachers building ways to get at the gorillas, just so much goes on and all you want is for these wonderful Gorillas to be rehabilitated and live a peaceful life where they should be, but i'm captivated by the programme.
Oh nearly forgot......A new baby, how wonderful was that I love you

Thanks for not letting anything out about last nights Doogs but it sounds like another tension built episode, I almost need to do a big Phew and relax after these episodes, they really do get you all tensed up with what goes on, it's gripping from the minute they start till they end and I can't wait for Sundays episodes.
