Lions - Masai Mara (Doogs)

We were fortunate to come across a number of different Lions when we were away from various prides, Ridge Pride, Base Pride and the Marsh Pride. We saw a few 'courting couples' including one of Notch's sons and a lucky lady. The rest of Notch's sons were lying sleeping nearby but we didn't get any decent photos of them as they were flat out !!!

Oh Doogs those are Blooming Lovely Very Happy

you must be so delighted with those, they are amazing. The courting couple is very tender and yes Notch's son is just so handsome.......just like his dad. Loving the cub suckling, I think thats a first on here from anyones visits to the Mara. Had to Very Happy

with the cats relaxing, they look just like their domestic friends having a nap.

Just showed Mrs S she thinks they are wonderful. Love the baby suckling, and the intimate moment. He really does look like Notch

LW we were lucky to also some suckling with our female who had the 3 young cubs. Here she is with two of them looking very chilled about it all Very Happy

Oh WOW, that is delightful Doogs, she is so relaxed about it all, infact she is like " i'm not having my sleep disturbed for anything", I reckon she is an experienced mum don't you. She is also very beautiful isn't she and the cubs are very cute.
