That is a very sobering read Chui. I have said many times before it is down to education and also educating the children of the future, they are the ones that can change things big time. China really does need to be re-educated and I am pleased to read that there is actually great efforts in trying to do this.
It is appauling to read that female elephants are being poached, leaving behind young and no matriach for the herd.
The last sentance is just so apt " The biggest mistake the Lions made was to let the humans climb down from their trees", never a truer word spoken in the plight of the African wildlife.

It is a 4 and a bit page read guy's but well worth reading.

Thanks Chui.

Not read it all yet, but it's getting that bad. That in Crime Watch a programe in the UK, about criminals, they highlighted a breakin at a Museum. They stole a Rhinos head that was on display, for the Horns. All Museums, and places that have exhibits, have been advised to replace any Horns with replicas. Just goes show how low some people will go to make money, and these low life have'nt got the excuse of living in Africa with a low standard of living, and trying to support family's with no income

That is a vey sobering read, not good news at all No

Is there actually any proof/evidence that using the likes of tiger parts, ivory etc etc in Chinese medicine actually works and that it does cure people ?

I Agree with you re the las sentence of the article LW, how very, very true.

WS, I also saw the bit on Crimewatch re the Rhino head that was stolen from a Museum. How low can you get and what is this world coming to Sad Mad Crying or Very sad
