WAA Christmas Trees
I had a thought whilst posting in lets chat, that as I can't really have a chrissie tree this year, maybe everyone else would love to take a picture of their tree and post on this thread, that way I get to see lots of lovely trees and we can also share each others chrissie excitment and decorating and seeing the final effect.
What do you think? post your tree pics here if you want to join in for a little fun and excitment.

Great idea LW
Cracking AM and 10 out of 10 for the decorating - you're well organised
Mine is still at the forest, will post as soon as it arrives at our house in Aberdeen :)

Re: WAA Christmas Trees
At least you are honest AM :) Well done Chris, good job
I grew up with always having a real tree for Christmas so I'll keep going with the tradition for many years. I must admit that having laminate flooring makes clearing up the needles a lot easier than having a carpet
I agree re the smell of real trees LW, they can be amazing if they are strong

Re: WAA Christmas Trees
great tree SM, TT, RT and DT - it looks beautiful, and I love the candles.
I've a problem with our tree, we put it by the window and I thought what a great place for it, no power points near by, we've a stone floor and I can't have a lead running across it that my mum might trip over so as yet, a lightless tree - how blonde is that?
Photo to follow - no comments please about
1) broken fairy - she's hung up her wings and wants to retire, so I've got to go and buy a new one
2) no lights - no excuse but

Re: WAA Christmas Trees
Gorgeous SM, TT, RT & DT, looks like a tree you get on a christmas card, proper christmassy
Lai Pai, I can't make any blonde jokes being one myself and incredibly blonde. Trust the Fairy wanting to retire right on top of christmas, thats not good enough is it, she could have waited till easter or something.
Hope you get your lights sorted and yes, keep your mum safe at all times, no trips over christmas please.
Looking forward to the piccie.

Re: WAA Christmas Trees
WOW thats a huge Lai Pai and no wonder the fairy is refusing to sit on the top, she will get real dizzy.
It's a magnificent tree and I bet with it being real it smells lovely.
You can get lights that are run by battery, I have seen them in the gardens centres and other places that sell trees. My mum used them once for her little tree, you may need a few though for that big tree.

Thanks Littlewid, I'll have a look. It's a 7' tree and is shedding already, despite saying it was a non drop tree!
