Out of the worst of it on the East side ,I think, although we have contractors on site at work and their hut is now in "flat pack" form, don't know where they'll have their tea tomorrow.

Well guy's I am in the supposedly sunny south and we have had horrendous gales this evening, it's been very windy all day but this evening it has just been mad.
My fence got blown down and my nephew has just been round to put it back up for me otherwise nero would not be able to get in the garden.
It has died down a little now so i'm keeping my fingers crossed we have a quiet night.
My shed is still standing TB so my workmen still have their tea house for the morning Very Happy

Been really windy here, a few branches down, and our Car got blown all over the road a couple of times, but not as bad as they have had it up in Scotland, one gust a few miles away in Snowdonia was measured ar around 80mph, but not as bad here as we are bit lower down. Worst thats happened is our recycling bin has vanished somewhere over the fields

All okay here, windy and wet, a few trees down but nothing major thankfully.

Hoping you are all okay, especially Doogs and TB up in Scotland - we saw it on the news and it looked horrendous.

Stay safe everyone.

Much quieter here in North Wales today, bit breezy, but sunny, and dry at the moment. Also on the plus side, we were forcast to have snow today earlier in the week, but it did'nt reach here cheers Hope your OK up there in Scotland, as LP said it looked really really bad on the news

No oh no poor you. I've not seen our forecast for the week, but it won't be nearly as bad as you up there. Fingers crossed they've got it wrong Doogs and you'll all be okay.

I saw the weather report on Countryfile yesterday and that got me affraid They have been predicting gales here tonight and tomorrow and we started the day with sunshine and calm, then at about 3pm it turned heavens black and rained a bit and now the wind is really getting up. I reckon i'm going to loose my fence again and Nero, me and the cats are going to be huddled on the sofa under a blanket to affraid to investigate outside.

Thanks for the weather update Doogs

I reckon we are all in for a whopper. Please stay safe everyone and fingers crossed the internet connection stays up.

It was the same here, lovely morning with pots of sunny . Then as forecast around three it stated to Raining , and the winds started to get up, although looking at what they said it's more the South thats going to get it tomorrow more than us. Thursday night, and Friday look like they could be a real affraid

Batten down the hatches guys an'gals, seems it's your turn now, hope all is well.If you can't put things inside, lay them down(including bins and fence panels)saves having to find or replace them later. One of our neighbours had half their roof tiles removed, not nice.

Survived a windy night and all calm and blue today, no doubt more awful weather to follow. Hoping everyone else stayed safe last night.
