This really is one lucky Duck. It is just such a shame that the new year starts like this and for me Lewes is only about an hour away, so I really am not impressed.
This was mindless and cruel.

Evil or Very Mad Twisted Evil Why and who? I really despair of the human race. As you say one lucky duck and thankfully someone who cared enough to help, but who gets pleasure from such a mindless deed?

Mindless idiots, but these two comments are really disgusting, and it shows what some of the so called human race are like
Why are we wasting money on surgery for ducks when people are going cold and hungry on our streets? The sick people are the ones that value animal life higher than the plight of the fellow humans.

People, listen up, It's a duck NOT a Human! Why do people get so upset when an animal is injured or killed. There is a natural chain and we, the human race are at the top looking down on everything else. Therefore how about looking after each other and showing a little more compassion for those who are risking their lives every day so that people like you lot can complain about a duck getting injured. Booo Hooo! Wake up and smell the coffee xx

Good for you WS - frankly I hope the two who made those comments remember karma and what goes around comes around.

Compassion, they don't know the meaning of the word and as for thinking humans are at the top, looking down - god help us with such arrogance.

This was my reply, not been published yet
Just a Duck ?. If you think that the mindless sick person who could do this to a defencless Animal, would show any compassion to a defencless vunerable, or elderly person, or other Human being, then not only should you smell the coffee, and wake up, you should check reality as well. This sort of behavour is the kind that led to the riots this year, in which those in the public services risked their lives. With our brains, we look down on Animals ?, with our brains Animals should be looking up at us, to put right the things that we've done to our planet to ruin it not only for the Animals, but for future genarations to come

I read the URL and shivered. I would prefer not to read further as the title says it all. Sickening!

WS very well said. Mark from Guild is just an equally mindless idiot.
