Re: Whitestarlings Bird Feeders
Thanks AM. Just trying out to see if I could get it set up online. The Cam's on the inside of the window at the moment so the picture quality's not as good as it could be. Got to try, and figure how I can get the Cam outside.

Thumbs Up WS!
Are you just using the laptop web cam or the proper streaming cams?

Thanks SM. At the moment I'm just using the seperate Web Cam I got with the laptop, with 5Metre extension cable. I wanted to see if I had the speed, and was able to upload it. It's quite easy with ustream. I may well look at other cams now I know it will work

Brilliant WS I am so looking forward to catching this when it's online. You get so many visitors to your feeders it must be amazing to watch.
I don't think the speed of my notebook is really fast enough to set one up but I may give it a go when the birds return to the feeder to see how it goes, I have a seperate web cam as well so like you can use that instead of the one in the pc. My head is now planning, when the new summer house comes it will be right by the feeder and I am having electricity put in it, so I could try and leave it running during the day in there out of the way of the cats......you got me thinking now WS
Well done you for setting one up.

That could be worth a try LW, when your ready if you need any help sorting out how to get it on stream on the internet give me a shout. My connection is not really fast enough for a good pic, but I'm going to give it another try from outside, now the weather's better
