If you read Doog's post on Hilda the hen you have probably seen this but I thought Fred deserved his own spot in the news here.

Great find LW! Thanks for posting it. Those are the kind of stories that make you feel good! And I agree WS the world would be a far better place.

Oh wow, that is just such a lovely story and those photos are so adorable. What a fantastic dog Fred is and one lucky little duckling.

Great find, thanks Littlewid.

Glad you liked the story. Fred is amazing isn't he, he reminded me so much of Bentley, He used to mother my little rabbits and he helped me get a baby hedgehog out of the road as well. I think these two will be friends forever I love you

How lovely you thought of Bentley as well Lai Hugs it really is the kind of thing he would have done and there was something about Freds face that is reminiscent of Bentley too. I bet they have loads of fun swimming together, labs love water too.

I think one of the photos you had posted of Bentley in the past must have reminded me, as you say it was in Fred's face. They are such loving, caring dogs and I can well imagine Bentley would have taken all sorts of animals under his wing.

I know exactly the picture you mean Lai Very Happy it made me gasp when I saw it and you are right, Bentley would have cared for any animal that needed loving.
