Dying for Ivory Empty Re: Dying for Ivory

That was very emotional, some truly tragic photos of massacred eles and some beautiful photos of magnificent eles with their wonderful tusks.

The statistics were quite horrifying - 2020 is not far away and if all the African eles have gone by then there is no hope for mankind with the constant poaching and destruction of our planet.

Thanks WS that really made me think this morning.

sad and unfortunate to see the poor elephants killed like this..cant imagine the trauma the elephants families have to go through when they lose their dear ones to poaching

if this goes mankind will soon destroy the balance of nature marking the end of his own race...

not sure how long people will take to realize that all living beings have a right to live in this world as much as we do...and they also belong to nature as much as we do...

how can someone kill those poor innocent beauties...Sad

Will it ever stop? Poaching is on the increase day by day, just like the old days when eles and rhinos were nearly wiped out. Such sad reading and especially as so much is being done to try and protect these animals in some of the African countries.
