Hitching a ride Empty Hitching a ride

Today we found this snail hitching a ride on my car, tucked in between the car and the wing mirror. I dread to think how long he has been there, but he is now back at home in the garden, a very well travelled snail, (and a seriously dirty car What a Face oops)

What an odd place to find a snail Lai, I wonder how he got there, that was some climb for him. Good to know he is now safe back in your garden. Wouldn't it be interesting to know how many miles he has done......shame he can't speak, it would be funny to know where he had travelled too, it could be miles or he could have just climbed up there and thought......Gosh, it's taken me all this effort and now you remove me and i've not been anywhere yet Very Happy
Great picture and has given me a little smile cheers

Amazing what hitches a ride. Apparently my sister found a spider that dropped in front of her nose while on the way to work this morning. Avoiding an accident with hands waving the spider remains somewhere in the car and she is refusing to get back in the car until someone gets rid of it. Wonder how she is getting home then!

Think she would have preferred your snail Laughing

Lai affraid Hitching a ride 40683

I have a resident Spider in my drivers wing mirror - always feel a bit guilty when he's spun a nice web and I go and destroy it by driving quickly down the dual carriageway !!! Laughing

Loved the story of your sisters spider SM and yes Doogs, you need to drive a little slower Hitching a ride 40683

The other day, Sunday in fact, I had a fly hitching a ride on the inside of my drivers window, now as I don't like them buzzing round my head.......even though I saved Buzz the other week.....I opened the window and let him out.......and anyway, he didn't look as though he had the money to pay for his Taxi fare Very Happy

Brilliant LW Laughing

I sometimes think about flies when you board a plane at Heathrow then arrive at say Nairobi, the fly flies out into the searing heat and thinks to itself, where the hell am I ? scratch Laughing Razz
