Rescued Baby Hummingbird Video

Whilst checking out Phoebe I came across this link about a baby Hummingbird who had fallen from the nest, it was rescued by a couple and nursed back to health, all the time the mother Hummingbird came back to feed him.
It's a lovely video, of the care of a mother and the compassion of a couple who saved him.

What a brilliant story with a happy ending, and what an experience for them. Lovely to see someone doing something so caring.

It was a very touching story Lai, and they were so caring weren't they.....it was lovely to see and to know they went to all that effort to save the little fellow and his mum never gave up on him either, it was amazing she even landed on the guys hand to feed her little one.

The really amazing thing was that the mother continued to feed the baby - wow, that's trust. They are such tiny little fragile things and to sit in someone's hand is just so totally trusting.

That was fantastic!!! So lovely to see them being able to do that for the little one. And how trusting of the mum to feed it. What a wonderful video!! cheers

Its a fantastic story, and Video, and the great thing is not only did they go to all that trouble to save the little bird. They also had the sense, and compassion to tale it to a centre so it could be rehabilitated so that it could be released back onto the wild
