can bobcats really do this?

I was told that " Bob cats are well known to be able to throw rocks as a warning for you to get out of their territory. And they can also scream like a human and make a sound of a crying baby. This is no Myth it's fact..." And I wanted to find some citation somewhere on the net about this. Or a video online? I need a little help please finding a website that says that bobcats can do this. I believe my friend that said it though, that is just an fyi. I just can't find it online anywhere.

He said it is because of the location and area that he lived in.

I think your friend is getting confused between what Bob Cats can do, and the advice on how to discourage, or ward off Bob Cats close to you. This is a link that tells you, to make loud noises, and throw rocks to warn them off
