Well I hope he gets put in jail for that because if he only got paid the equivalent of £300 to traffic the Tigers and the fine is £800, he obviously would not have the means to pay it, so fingers crossed he goes to jail.
Some of those cubs were only 6 weeks old, the others only 2 months, so traumatic for them to have been taken from their mums and so risky for their lives too and what were those little cubs going in to!
The man may be desperate for money but for me the animals and in this case the Tiger cubs come first.

I saw this on the news this morning, poor little cubs being taken away from their mother but so glad that they were saved and I hope they are able to be reintroduced to the wild

The worrying thing is, that to have that many Cubs, ther had to be a minimum of 6 Female Tigers killed to get them. Yes he should be put in jail to deter others, but its the people behind all this that they really need to get. Although that money does'nt seem much to us, its a fortune to somebody in these countries, and the money men are always going to find someone desperate enough to take the chance.

What a horrible story but thank goodness all the tiger cubs were saved. That's a horrible stat WS that a "minimum of 6 Female Tigers killed to get them" Sad

What a sickening story, what chance have these cubs got of being released back to the wild realistically? Probably none and so the numbers of tigers decrease by the day, soon we will have none in the wild.
