What a fantastic story that is Doogs and brilliant that although Paddy could no longer work with the police, all his training and enthusiasm hasn't been wasted and it sounds as though he is also having a real positive response within the wards as well.
Good for Paddy and I am sure many more Trusts would like to have a sniffer dog too.

Great idea. It's amazing how patients respond to an animal. Mrs S used to work at a Hospital for people with dementia, and mental problems. She was a seamstress there, and when we had Sam as a pup, she used to smuggle him under her cloak around the wards, and the patients loved him. She said they seemed to come alive and really responded to him.
