.I am really not one for animal testing at all but mice have been used for many things before so this doesn't really surprise me at all, they are sensible little creatures and they do have heightened senses.

It will be nice not to have dogs used for explosives etc as I do not like the thought of dogs risking their lives in that way but then these little rodents are also going to be put on the line.

I just think it's a real shame that any animal has to be used in this way.

That report is really all about money, making it on the back of animals that have no choice. It say the Mice are conditioned to respond, and they responses are increased heart rate ect, tp me the only thing that will do that is fear or excitement. A Dog can be trained by the reward system, but it does'nt say how the mice are trained, and that worries me. In this day, and age with all the technology there should be no need for any type of animals to be subjected to this

Good point WS, it doesn't say how the mice are trained - worryingly Crying or Very sad
