You just never know do you? Ginger cats are def cools cats and trouble for sure, years ago I adopted a stray ginger tom I called him Toby and was he a character. He's spend time under my bed at night dragging himself from one end to the other end so it felt like a monster under my bed, then when he was bored of that he'd leap on my feet and beat the hell out of them. He liked crisps out of the packet in my hand and crunchies - as you say not good for cats but he just helped himself Laughing such a character. He'd also lie on the top of the chair and pounce on top of my mums dog. Got him everytime Laughing

Toby sounds like my kind of cat, such full of fun and i've had those toes battles as well and sometimes with war wounds as well!
Gingers are just fantastic cats, as you know when I got Splodge at first we thought she was male as its rare to get a Red and White female maine coon, anyway I thought yay another ginger male, then when I found she was female, I loved her the same and told my sister I still wanted her but I thought the ginger antics would not be the same......how wrong was I! Reds are Reds whether they be male or female and Splodge is Red through and through and I love it.

Crisps Lai, that made me smile because whiskey was a huge crisp fan.....cheese and Onion were his favourites and his paw would try and get them before I could get it in my mouth......crisp battles were always being fought and won by one of us.

Do you have any pictures of Toby? I would love to see him bounce

Are any of your boys mad for human food Cremecat or toe attackers affraid

Littlewid, what a fun story about Whiskey! I have heard that red cats can be crazy, but this was super!

Our boys eat only cat food, but they can be quite selective sometimes. If I give them Royal Canin dry food and Applaws wet food, they are mostly happy. :)

One night I was dreaming that I was sitting in a tram. Suddenly I started to get electric shocks from the tram floor. I moved to another seat but it didn't help; there were more and more shocks coming... Then I woke up and found Juuso in my bed, chewing my heels and soles. Razz

Yep Cremecat cats can be fussy eaters, my two are on Hills Z/D as Tiga has colitis and its better for his tummy but he would love anything sweet especially ice cream but thats a no go!

I so loved your story and I was giggling rather loudly but your poor feet affraid

I have another story, this is about my boy Spook who is no longer here and you have to know he was a huge black cat.

When I lived in my flat my bed was under the window. I was asleep one night when all of a sudden there was a huge thump on my chest that woke me with a huge start but winded me at the same time, I screamed get off me and get out, I was convinced someone had come through the window.....but no it was Spook who had launched himself off the window sill onto my chest and landed with a dead weight. I felt so silly for screaming and I had these large green eyes looking at me as if to say whats up with you!

Cats full of fun but full of mischief as well I love you

affraid Spook, just re read your post - ouch that was scary, no wonder you were alarmed!

I've just been lying on the floor trying to sort out my back and Tamu was fascinated and spent 15 minutes sitting right by me eye-balling me and then lying down resting her head on my stomach and finally lying next to me with her nose right by my head - she just has to be close at all times! In the end I gave up and got up and fed the dogs, she was beginning to get bored, which results in a rough game on her part!

CC, great pic of Otso getting up to no good and loved your dream too Laughing

LW, Whiskey; what a character! And opening an oven door. When it was on? affraid Oh, and of course females can get up to just as much mischief!

I can not think of too many Bella stories, but she always has a glint in her eye that says she's ready for mischief! One time she got her paws into an entire packet of soothers (cough lollies), most of which she coughed back up! And I wasn't there, but my parents had guests and were seeing them out, and when they returned inside they caught Bella on top of the table, about to duck into the sweets Laughing

We have a phrase for Bella; Ever the opportunist!

Yayyyyyyy good for Bellaroo Scottie I too love cheeky dogs and they wouldn't be dogs if they didn't try and seize the moment Cremecat's cats - Page 3 768480

Ahhh GR, the oven wasn't on, I just thought it would be a Whiskey proof place to hide things......but my boy was a master at his class of door opening Group Hug

I hope your back is feeling a little better Lai I loved the image of Tamu lying on the floor with her head on your stomach Very Happy it is funny how some dogs need to be close at all times but lovely.

I have no idea what I've done sadly, today I am struggling with it, lower back and it's better if I stand What a Face so practical when I'm trying to do photo management and sort through last year's Zambia images (of which there are far too many still).

No doubt once i'm on the floor again my not so aloof Ridgie will be helping me Hugs

That doesn't sound good Lai but as long as it's not travelling down your legs or causing pins and needles it may just be you have twisted awkwardly or strained something and it will settle with time and with the help of anti-inflammatories and some warm heat and keep moving. But then again maybe you are in need of a Ridgie cuddle Very Happy I hope you feel better soon.

Hopefully in a few days it will be feeling better then but yes good not to lift anything heavy and glad you are just chilling today. You know you can also take Paracetamol in between taking the ibuprofen, dont take them together but in between the Ibuprofen doses is just fine but no more that 8 paracetamol a day.

Lovely to hear all the stories about everyones pets. One of our Cats named Suky who Mrs S rescued at the hospital where she was born in the grounds as a feral Cat baby. Mrs S saw her being dragged around by a feral Male, but managed to get to her. She brought her home wrapped in silver foil, and fed her with a syringe with condensed milk, and little bits of pilchards. She would only eat pilchards for the rest of her life with us. We even tried leaving her without pilchards for a day, and putting all sorts of different cat food down, but it was no go. Only Pilchards would do.
As for playing with our Cat that we have now Poppy. Mrs S ended up at the Doctors affraid Mrs S made silver paper into balls to flick for Poppy to play with, she would chase them and bring them back like a Dog, and sit by Mrs S's foot, and if Mrs S did'nt throw them again she would stick her claws in to her ankle, it ended up being infected affraid so Mrs S had to have antibiotic cream to clear it up What a Face

Hope your backs getting better Lai take it easy, or you, and Pete are going to be a right pair What a Face

Group Hug Mrs S - a lovely story but affraid for her ankles, not nice at all!

Ooooooooooooh no Littlewid, it's me having a good sort, after my theory of keeping 500 from each trip! Zambia in 2011 was over 1300 so now down to 1000 and still trying. Also I have several other safaris that need sorting out - no pressure when I make such a bold statement Cremecat's cats - Page 3 40683

I am toying with the idea of a medley slideshow put together from 4 or 5 safaris over the years - but not sure if I know how to do that yet! Lots of Reading needed.....

Laughing I was thinking the exact same thing about CC's thread being hijacked Laughing

Bellaroo is quite the personality. Even when she is being a 'possum' I love her heaps. She is always making me smile, laugh and feel loved I love you

I really don't know what I'd do without her. I think for sure that I will be someone who always has a dog by my side from now on.

Lai, that's going too far with the empathising with Pete with your bad back! But best wishes that you get better soon Hugs And this possible medley slideshow has me excited!

Nice stories about your cats WS. The ankle one especially is a combination of affraid Laughing & I love you

I have an image now of Lai being a walking packet of tic tacs. HEAR she comes... Laughing

Cremecat's cats - Page 3 Image21

If Juuso is sitting on the table when you happen to pass by, he holds out his paw as if he would like to shake hands, and he spreads his toes like this. It makes his paw look huge!

I think it he is so cute! I love you
