Thanks so much for that Doogs, Owls are my all time favourite bird and I have two brilliant books on them that I am always looking at.
I have seen something about their ability to turn their heads before, I think on a nature program but it wasn't as indepth as that article.
That was an amazing clip and what a stunning owl

I thought that this was because they got themselves awfully cosy on branches and were thus just too lazy to move the rest of their body!

If I was a scientist I'd probably do all sorts of wacky things; like claim that leopards are above us and at the top of the food chain, and that they must be allowed to waltz into our homes and take our food whenever they wish.

And giraffes would be rightfully given entire countries for their territory me thinks. All in the name of science.

Jack Russells would be given special priviledges also

Owls would obviously be derided for their laziness
