I thought that was the case WS. Percy is happy today, he is feeding well along with 2 ducks who are more than happy to come to the window and look appealing.

I won't be able to catch him now after my failed attempt last night, he is wise to me and prefers to keep just a little more distance today. I guess he may become resident soon Very Happy

I am thinking it is GR and frankly what a lovely thought Very Happy

Great news you are going to see the dog(s) Wink tomorrow Lai, I hope it goes well. I must admit I am not keen on Princess either so glad you are going to give her another name. I like your thoughts on Kasi but did you know that Princess translated in Swahili is . . . . .

Princess (title), Lady = Bibi
Young princess (title), Small lady = Kibibi

There you go, I didn't realise that Very Happy

Glad to hear Percy is fine today and has plenty of company in your garden Cool

I didn't know that Doogs. So Bibi our lovely Mara lioness is Princess, Lady.

I had thought of Mara too as a place we love.

Pete has certain thoughts on some names as you can imagine, as he's walking round the fields or woods calling some curious unpronounceable name. So short and easy and of course apt and charming.

I am very excited about tomorrow, but am having a real missing Penny day today Sad

Just popped home and fed Percy and the 2 ducks, Tamu can't believe it, she lies on her bed and they come right up to the window, she is quite incensed at the cheek Very Happy

Thanks Doogs, much appreciated, it's funny what can trigger a reaction, but I am happy to remember her with some wonderful funny moments.

My Oh My, it's all going on at your home Lai but all very exciting. Percy has decided to stay where he knows he is well off and I don't blame him at all, he knows he will be loved and fed along with all the other feathered friends he has made. Loved the pictures of him and the comments I love you

2 new friends for Tamu, I think thats a wonderful idea and they surely will be two very lucky Greyhounds indeed, they don't know it yet but they soon will and Doogs is right, you and Pete are pure Like a Star @ heaven s for sure.
I love the name you have thought of but also love the names Doogs has found as well, a name is very important for a dog and I am looking forward to hearing what you and Pete come up with for definite.

I'm sorry you have had a tough day today, these days do just pop up at odd moments but it shows how very much our loved pets are still in our heart and sometimes it makes us smile and other times it makes us cry but Penny would be so chuffed you are going to rehome to more Greyhounds and I bet Tamu will love the company and someone to spring around with.

I have not long had a lovely walk with Nero and we met a 2yr old retriever called Teddy, we have met him before and he is just a darling but today he jumped up at me and put his front paws round my neck and licked my face, I was a mixture of laughter and tears and gave him a big hug back and he wouldn't let go......animals are very perseptive and he must have sensed something today, thank heavens the owner knew about Bentley and she has not long lost her older retriever, and thats what your two new friends will know, that they are in a loving forever home and they will want to bring cheer to your life and to Tamus as well.
Have a wonderful time tomorrow going to see them and look forward to hearing all about it.

Group Hug Littlewid, animals are indeed just so perseptive and have such good sense and empathy.

Sounds like Teddy is a real delight and a good friend for Nero.

I'll keep you posted re our possible adoptions. More names being considered just now .... I like Kip and have always wanted to find a dog I could call Kip so who knows Very Happy
