Re: Happy Birthday GR
Happy Birthday GR have a great day. Hope you received lots of new Onsies as presents!!!!!
Safariman
p.s. I was reading in the paper yesterday that Australians are leaving the UK in huge numbers and returning home. In the last couple of years about 20,000 have returned and all the Aussie pubs and shops in London, particularly in Earls Court have been closing down!!! I know the UK weather is bad but I did not think it was that bad!!!

Re: Happy Birthday GR
You guys are all so totally awesome!!! heapsy for these messages. Sorry that I have been slack on here today, but had work and then spent the night at the folkies and caught up with brother too which was great!
Especially love the special photos and so forth that you have given me as presents LW, that dog on the slide is very cute, and green and blue is a great colour combination. Lai, that little doogy winking is an absolute delight And then there is WS....what more can one say? But...
Your photoshopping expertise brings a big smile to my face, and I believe these onesies suit my Bella and Leo to a tee!
Off to now everyone. I have had so many terrific messages today. I feel blessed.

Can't believe it's 6 months since you joined the Forum
In a way it actually feels like longer (and that's a compliment) as you've fitted in so well here. You are a wonderful addition with your stories, photos and banter

Re: Happy Birthday GR
Hoping to get in heaps of WAA posts today!
Safariman, maybe it's just that whinging poms have become even more so due to the cold, resulting in the mass Aussie exodus
But really, we are from a sunburnt country, so can't expect us to be able to handle such freezing conditions
I can wear my onesie suit when it's a twenty degrees
And speaking of suits, I kinda got a new one last night, though to have it as an actual onesie would be a bit A top mate of mine gave me a cycling top for my birthday (which is extra weird since I don't even cycle ), and it's for the team of my favourite rider Andreas Kloden. It's a really great gift as the obscure is always the best really, like WS' giraffe/dogs onesie pics, it's an understanding of something that defines me a little.
I even put the top on during dinner, and it fits like a glove
This dinner was presumably just one between close friends, but in actual fact it was also to announce some details for my friends wedding, and I am one of the groomsman! Totally awesome! In fact I have never been a groomsman or best man at a wedding, so this will be a new and great experience for me.
We had Thai food last night, and it's always so great. There were seven of us, and we got five 'mains' sharing them all between us.
So even though the entire Giro stage was cancelled it was still a good night
I think my brother will laugh when he sees me in the cycling top too.
Here's to the next six months LW! Here's to the next six years and beyond hopefully I love you guys
for your fantastic message Doogs; it does not matter how late someones message is in my I really love this thread too; so full of colour and happiness
That's a beautiful jack russell you've shared, and the 'halfaversary' pic is oh so sweet, as I like eccentric elephants (as we all know), but also outrageous owly's (not so well known), so this pic brings a very big to my face.
A wonderful addition with my stories? HAHA well these are about to become much worse; probably way too parrot profound, but I need to clean out my system before I can return to the 'serious' work of The Seriousness Police
Also with my birthday, I received many beautiful messages as I've mentioned, but an extra special one of note were the best wishes received from the first woman I ever fell for. After going through all sorts of neediness, delusions, questionable actions etc, it's very validating to know that after more than seven years, she still sees me as a sweet boy. Because she knows me pretty damn well. I value her ment, and her presence in my existence (however infrequent), as I lost her for three years at one point (totally understandable).
And I have a story that's kinda dedicated to her, though it's been laying around doormant for almost three weeks, so better get back to it! Amongst others...
Yes, slowly coming out of my shell a little more. Last night I even spoke of a mythical creature from TSP, because I wanted to share a cool thingy with a couple who are relatively new (but very much in ), though he I have known for years. The wangaratta is a furry animal that worships Mr Yellow and its extra special characteristic is that it can only ever love once, and if that love isn't reciprocated then it will die (hopefully this is not actually literal ). So I mentioned this to them, and that it made me smile when a couple of months ago I saw that he'd posted on facebook that they had indeed just been to Wangaratta (which is a town in Victoria, Australia).
It was probably a bit weird me saying that, but I wish I could say weird thingys more often
The dogs are playing up, so I'd most definitely be getter our walk on! Get back here soonish.

Re: Happy Birthday GR
I'm not sure if it's a positive or negative effect that reading The Seriousness Police will make you all
And if it ever gets published it will be directed at the 11-14 audience, so will be getting them onto the nice and early
Parents; "Don't let me ever catching you reading THAT book!"
Kids, just stash it under your bed

GR - your humour is quite - that's supposed to represent 'off the wall' rather than headbanging
I'm still looking for a suitable onesie or PJ's but nothing yet .........
