Oh my goodness, that was some fight by the looks of it. I am pleased neither were seriously hurt. The odd thing is, I can understand why they were fighting to protect their cubs but what if one of them got killed, then their cubs would be in danger, why dont they just scarper off to safety when they have cubs.

What a relief they both were okay and no cubs were harmed. I agree Littlewid, how tragic if one had been killed and the cubs had been orphaned. Lions are so precious, I just wish they would realise it!

WOW That was some fight by the look of it. Strange though, you would have thought with both having Cubs to protect, unless there was an aggresive move from one or the other, they would have backed off
