I came across this video and I really hope posting it works. The quality is not brilliant but its about a little Zebra that gets attacked by a croc and then the pod of Hippos move in to save it. Its a little lengthy and just when you think its all over, yahoo sucess. I have never seen anything like it. If the video works bare with it as its just amazing.

WOW That was a battle, and a half, I thought it was never going to get out of the water. The Hippos did a great job, but it was'nt really walking very well. I hope it survived after the fight it put up

What an extraordinary clip. I wonder why the croc was not trying harder to kill the zebra, it was almost playing with it. That poor zebra must have been traumatised and completely exhausted and looking at the state of his leg not in a good way after finally escaping. What an awful experience.

It was very strange wasnt it that the croc seemed to be just playing with the Zebra. I dont really know much about Crocs but I wonder if it was either a young one and not very adapt at what it should be doing or maybe he wasnt hungry but his instincts of killing kicked in but he was only tormenting the Zebra. I am pleased he got away and the Hippos were amazing but with his leg he will be easy prey for other predators so his torment will be two fold. On a brighter note, his leg may have just been sore and not broken and he may recover.......I hope that is the case.
