Re: Masai Mara Safaris
The usual wonderful photos from Aatish and great updates. Shame that their time has come to an end again but hey they've been out there for over 3 weeks, that's living the dream :)
We caught up him & his brother (Aashit) on a number of occasions when we were at the Intrepids and it was good to chat with them, they are very passionate & enthusiastic about the Mara & Olive in particular I know Aatish has finished his University Course but Aashit still has another year of his chemistry degree to do. The boys are very lucky in having their own jeep and also top of the range camera equipment that justifies the wonderful photos they post.

Re: Masai Mara Safaris
It certainly is WS - I wonder what is stopping the from staying in the Mara Shakira and her 3 girls have all disappeared and also Shingo and her 6 cubs - that's 11 cheetah alone with that two families, it's very strange but it's also very worrying
Good to see that Aatish has seen some young lion cubs, they are so much fun, you can sit and watch then for ages. By the picture he posted they look about the same age as the ones we were lucky enough to see this year :)
I got a message fm Aatish today saying he was a bit worried that he'd not seen Olive. Hopefully she will turn up soon. I think her family is amazing as both Nkaiyoni & Pacha look after Bahati when Olive is not there - most unusual for the solitary leopard.

Re: Masai Mara Safaris
Wonderful news of new additions to Alama Did make me think of the female cheetah we saw before we left in Sept who looked quite heavily pregnant, I wonder if it was her ??? I've no idea of what Alama's markings are so clarify if it could have been, might send a picture to Aatish and ask him, would be fab if it was
