I am not sure if this is unusual or not. Daisy was so big for a female calf that her mum abandoned her because she couldn't get under her mum to feed. Luckily she is being fed via a tube but she is having to be kept away from other young giraffes because she is still very delicate and not as old as she looks.
I'm sure Dotty would not have abandoned her if she was a regular size baby giraffe  Giraffe

Poor little (or not so little) Daisy, how unusual and how lucky she is being cared for.

Oh what a shame, you would'nt think a baby Giraffe could to big to get under it's mum to feed. Fingers X Daisy will get through and join the rest of the Giraffes in the future

Oh my goodness, poor Daisy  Crying or Very sad   That's certainly a new story to me, she must be a big girl for her age.  She looks to be doing fine so far, here's hopig she can continue to thrive and will so be introduced to other giraffes.  She looks so cute in that picture with her jacket on  I love you
