How I fell in love with an owl: She wasn't the ideal pet to keep in a London flat. But Mumble stole MARTIN WINDROW'S heart - and she'll steal yours too!

What a fantastic read WS and right up my street. Mumble sounds adorable and a very special Tawny Owl as well. How sad was her end of life, I wonder what happened. There is something so very special about Owls and I wish I had the time to dedicate to one. I have saved the article to my favourites as there is a phone number at the bottom to order a copy of the book that is released on 27th Feb, I will definitely be getting a copy to read more of Martin and Mumbles life together.

What an amazing story WS, thanks for posting that  cheers   What a lovely, happy life Mumble led with Martin.  I must admit I was glad to hear she wasn't kept in that flat all her life (even though she was obviously lovingly looked after there).  What a really sad ending to her life through and very strange, it must have broken Martins heart to find her like that.

That's definitely a book for you LW, right up your street  Owl
