Re: Help!!! Leopard i.d. required.
Only had time to compare the first two SM, both those two shots are the same Leopard. Compare the spots indicated on this cut outs, and if you count the shape and number of spots in the pattern round the eye they match too
I will try to check the others later

Re: Help!!! Leopard i.d. required.
Thanks WS.
The other two shots are the same leopard but from the opposite side. I was pretty certain they were the same but it is good to get an independent confirmation. The leopard is Nelangu, Zawadis daughter. Two of the photos were taken on my visit to Mara North in Dec. 2012 and the others on my recent trip from which I just returned. The reason I have asked is that Doogs posted a link to Kicheche Camps a couple of days ago showing a leopard, Nelangu, with two tiny cubs. My latest photos were taken on the 13 Feb. quite a long way from the area Nelangu was supposed to be with her cubs and Kicheche's were posted on the 20 Feb. although I am not sure when thy were taken. It would seem to be unusual for her to be so far away from her newborn cubs and she was happily chilling out up a tree for some time before coming down and moving off and did not appear to be hunting.
I will be posting some more photos of her together with a story on my safari post later.

Re: Help!!! Leopard i.d. required.
grand job WS and totally agree they are the same leopard
SM, she is one stunning girl and how brilliant it's Zawadi's daughter What fantastic shots, I'm a tad with envy at those. Very much looking forward to seeing more pictures of her and of course your stories to go with them
I'll see if I can get any good close ups of the Kicheche Mum and see if it's the same leopard but I agree with you, would be surprised if it's her being that far away from her cubs.
