This must have been terrifying for the monkey, if this was a 3hr chase. You can see the little baby has been hurt on it's back but it made a very brave and plucky escape. The Leopard was only doing what young Leopards do but I am glad the little baby Monkey escaped. This all happened in Sabi Sands.

One very lucky Monkey to have managed to escape. I'm also glad it did, and hopefully any injuries were not to bad, and it made a full recovery. As you say LW, young Leopards, do this to practice their hunting skills, as do our domestic Cats, it part of them growing up, and learning how to survive. Great photos of the incidence as well

Hopefully the little Monkeys injuries weren't too bad and he will recover. It is a cat thing isn't it, whether they be big or little cats and just part of their natural being......just not a bit that helps other little creatures  What a Face
