This is a very sad story of little Lexie. It appears she may have been stolen and used as bait in a dog fight. Luckily she was found and has been saved by the vets. They think she has come from a loving home as she is a sweet little dog. It would be wonderful if her owners could be found but they are not really sure how she eded up being bait for a dog fight.

On one of the comments after the article one writer has said it happens all to often, dogs are stolen from gardens or outside shops where dogs are left unattended but also which is quite scary and not something I had thought of before is that people who run dog fighting rings often scour the newspapers for dogs being given away free to a good home.......how sick is that. so a lesson for anyone looking in and reading this.......don't ever offer your dog up for free to a good home, you don't know what your setting them up for. It's always best to take them to a rehoming centre.

Evil or Very Mad   Twisted Evil  and very  Sad

It just amazes me how sick people are, let's hope she is re-united with her owner or found a wonderful new forever home.
