How sad is this for Roy, just because he loved his owner so much he has been treated so badly. Everyone knows these birds need almost constant company and also to be let out to roam around the home, they are not meant to be solitary and locked away starved of affection and company.

I really hope that Roy can be brought round a little bit and becomes less stressed. This really is such a shame, they should have just given him away to a loving home.

Oh that poor parrot  Sad  He's in the best hands possible with Ms Henley and although a full recovery doesn't look likely here's hoping he can become a happy wee parrot again  Roy The African Grey 431638  Shame on his 'male' owner for locking him in the garage after his wife died  Mad Sad

Why on earth didn't he just find him a new home, or take him to an animal welfare centre. I'm sure if his wife was looking down she would be really upset at the treatment. Fingers X he does get better
