Was away to post this one LW so just as well I checked to see if it was already on.

Amazing story / pictures and well done to daddy for saving the little one. I'm sure eventually the baby baboon would have ended up like the little wildcat in another post but thankfully it didn't get that far. It was tiny wasn't it  affraid

I've seen things like this before where the predator does seem to form a bit of a bond with the baby of a species. It was really lucky the male Lions came in to distract the Lioness, and it was very brave of the male Baboon to come in and rescue the baby, hopefully it will survive.
