Sad Poor Siena she's not having much luck is she, hopefully as she was treated to quickly she will heal well again fingers X. Great job by the DSWT team for getting a team together, and treating her so quickly.

Thanks for the update Doogs. Poor Siena is having a tough time with that wound, but those vets are just brilliant.

Better news re Siena . . . .

Lioness Siena is healing well and all things considered, she is in very good condition, she and her cubs were seen feeding on the carcas of a cow buffalo that Sienna had helped bring down. As can be seen by the wound it is actually drying up and we hope will continue to heal well.

Three days ago our guides reported that one of the breakaway lionesses had 3 new cubs at the Bila Shaka crossing, which we estimate to be around 10 days old. We are getting reports this morning that Sienna has killed one of these cubs and another was injured by Kabibi. Our guides are going out to look this morning to assess what has happened and what is going on now and we will update you. Photo is courtesy of Patrick Reynolds Governors Il Moran Camp.

That's really good news on her wound, but sad news if the reports about the breakaway lioness's cubs is true
