Rhino and Hippo Date

Any of you Guys who've been on Safari ever seen , or heard of anything like this ?

NEWS FLASH: This lonely male rhino at Moholoholo has been sold to another preserve to meet girl rhinos and make babies. Now he won't have to try and hook up with the uncooperative hippos! There's kissing, horn rubbing, tusk displays, gentle biting, back rubs, rolling around, pushing, shoving, and even mounting during their encounter that lasted over 35 minutes. "Date night" seemed to sum it up best. There's also a couple more minutes of video before it gets dark in Part 2. You won't want to miss it.



These are the last few minutes of the rhino looking for love with the local hippos before it got too dark to videotape

  for finding those clips WS and    how extraordinary, I've never seem anything like that on safari.

I'm so pleased that poor lonely rhino has gone to another reserve where hopefully he will meet some female white rhinos and breed successfully.

WS now that is a first for me as well.

One must be either very confused or extremely lonely to consider inter specie dating.
