The wolf family of Zacherevye:
How a Russian family took in and tamed a pack of wolves
Alisa Selekh is inseparable from the wolves since her father,
a gamekeeper, took in a group of wild wolves in 2009
Five years on, the wolves are completely domesticated and
live with the Selekhs as their beloved household pets
She loves nothing more than to roll in the grass with them,
let them lick her face and even ride on their backs

Re: The wolf family of Zacherevye:
Doogs how unusual. I have seen documentaries of people interacting with wolf packs before, but this is the first time I've seen it involve a family, and a young Girl. As we know a wolf pack is based on a pecking order with the alpha pair at its head. There is no information on how the family fit into the pack order. I do worry about that as it says in the last sentence wolves that have been domesticated are more dangerous than wild ones, because they have lost there fear of humans. However this has been going on since 2009 so hopefully things will be OK, but at the end of day they are wild, and their instincts can cut in at anytime

Mmmmmmmmmm I'm not sure about that as you say WS they are wild animals and can their instinct comes naturally to them. It's lovely to see them but I would always worry that they should be wild not domesticated.
Thanks for sharing Doogs.
