Fascinating story, it appears to demonstrate how captive animals' emotional scares can seriously affect their mental stability. A shocking development to was considered quite a controversial project in the first place.

Oh that is just incredibly sad Crying or Very sad

I realise it is a controversial project but it's one that I applaud and admire, these amazing animals should be in that kind of habitat, not in a zoo behind bars. I hope they can maybe find a different release site for others in the future that may not be so dangerous for them. If it is confirmed that another gorilla has done this I can also understand why, he would be both jealous and territorial of other gorillas Sad

I agree Doogs yes it was controversial, but those Gorillas got to live in the wild where they should be, and Gorillas in the wild also experience rouge males so these things happen sad as it is. Loved that video of Damian being greaated by the Gorilla he had brought up and released that was so touching
