The animal cut a forlorn figure and appeared to have tears in his eyes
He was left by plastic railings with just a takeaway tray full of water
Dog was reported abandoned and collected by dog wardens from station
Officials hope they will be able to trace owner or find a new home for him

Sad I saw that on FB this morning and thought what on earth is happening with people that they are now abandoning their dogs at railway stations? Honestly there is no excuse and it makes me mad, if you can't cope with your dog there are plenty of rescue centres that would help, why stress the poor dog more by just walking away like that? I could Sad people are just so heartless.

Oh dear he really looks so distressed, you cant help but feel for him. Like you both I just cant understand why people do this, the only reason I can think of is its to save embarrassment at not being able to look after the animals anymore. For Gods sake what a little embarrassment against what the animals suffers from being abandoned like that

A man ties it to the railings and gets into a taxi and they are going to try and unite him with the dog - are they insane?  He abandoned it for gods sake.  Rehome that poor little dog with someones who wants him and who cares.

Thanks for the update Doogs.
