I missed this too LW thanks for highlighting it. Yes a great intiative I'm not sure how it's doing, bu there may be some news about it in the TV programme My Wildlife as its from Samburu. Don't know if you've seen it with being busy the last few weeks. It's about Saba Hamilton taking over the family safari business in Samburu, with her husband David who is working for Save the Elephants charity set up by her Dad. It's 12 part 1/2 hr series on BBC 2 at 17-00pm Mon Tue although the first 4 have been on. We've already heard its not good news on the Elephants as poachers have started targeting Samburu, 5 yrs ago there were 32 mature big tuskers, its now down to 4, so if this has had any affect on the Rhinos I don't know the two tend to go hand in hand

Its a brilliant initiative WS and it'll be good if there is an update.....I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it goes well.

Yes I have been watching Saba and her family, its a great little series of their life and Save the Elephants. I think it was at the beginning they mentioned about the Rhino but obviously they are focussing on the elephants and the camp but they have touched on poaching with the elephants and last week the lovely bull elephant was killed and what a waste of a life that was....so upsetting. Tonights was a good one but a bit of a affraid one too, wont say too much incase you have recorded it.....it was nice to see it myself at real time rather than record and watch later.

They are delightful aren't they WS But yes a right handful I reckon but all 3 girls seem lovely. Frank her husband seems a nice chap too. I think with 3 girls and both having busy full on jobs they do really well. I liked Saba in BCD and she still seems a really nice level headed person.
