Africa Geographic - Leucistic giraffe
I never knew you could have a leucistic giraffe, but then again why not? Lovely to see one year on she is alive and well.

Re: Africa Geographic - Leucistic giraffe
Oh My Goodness!!! I didn't know that either Lai, Omo is so beautiful as well. I think it's also amazing that she is still alive as she has no real camouflage with being so white, she is either good at keeping out of harms way or her mum is an exceptional mum. Fantastic to see her as a calf and then a year later. Let hope they are able to see her in another year. That's a fantastic link and I've learnt something today.
I wonder how many of us remember Omo the detergent.......I do

I do too Littlewid. Giraffe mums don't generally make good mothers so Omo must be a sharp cookie
