They're amongst a few "new" birds to be seen in Britain,Cranes that are breeding in Norfolk are spreading their wings(literally),one has been sighted in the Montrose basin,worth keeping an eye on the web cam,you never know.There are four Spoonbills north of Aberdeen at the moment on the Ythan estuary too.

Thanks for the information TB, it looks like our warming climate is allowing species to spread further North, and new species to start to establish themselves in the UK

There's floods,failed rice harvests(due to rising temperatures)huge chunks of ice breaking away from Greenland and still some seem to think we don't really need to do anything...........bit worrying

Your right there TB. There's a lot of people with there heads in the sand, and all world leaders ? can do is keep talking about it. It's time for action not words before its to late

Is it normal behaviour for the male to primarily feed the young herons I wonder?
