This initially reads as funny but the more you read you realise it's another case of man encroaching on an animals territory and then the animal being punished.

That's a tough one - somehow humans and baboons have to learn to live together. They are quite frightening creatures, and very bold.

For Sale signs are sprouting up in suburbs with baboon populations. Families which have lived in the same house for generations are giving up, moving away to get away from their animal tormentors.

Baboons who have lived in the same area for a lot more generations than the Families are seeing For Sale signs sprouting up in their habitat as they reclaim their home from human tormentors

Reads the same to me

It surely does WS, looks like a real battle going on between Man V's Beast. I reckon it's a genuine tough battle on both sides though and understand both sides of the dilema.

I agree - very tough for both. Interesting as the area they are talking about is much sort after and was v expensive. I guess property prices will drop now.

More than likely Lai, I just hope it doesn't make them re-think the 3 strike rule and euthenise the baboons sooner.

No they couldn't could they? Mind you in SA anything is possible. Evil or Very Mad Think i shall stop now, as SA is where all the hunting goes on Drunk Baboons 112330

Perhaps they can think this one through, and come up with a solution.

I am hoping they can come up with a solution as well Lai. The trouble is baboons are determined and cheeky devils, very wilful, so it will probably be hard to outwit them but I am hoping some kind of solution can be found as I wouldn't put it past them re-thinking the 3 strike rule. Maybe playing Lion roars will deter them, it's a thought Very Happy
