Badgers Empty Badgers

Post  littlewid Fri Oct 08, 2010 9:58 pm

I was really impressed with the lady last night on AW who made up her own little mixture and fed the local badgers. It was a bit of a weird concoction but the badgers loved it. I was also amazed at how much they ate, she put piles of it along the railings and the two badgers were having a good old feest. It was also lovely to see the fox eating alongside the badger, usually these two would not get along but as Martin said, leave nature to itself and amazing things happen.

It was great to see, but I think she put out far too much and may be making them dependant. What happens when/if she stops?

There's a fine balance - but it was lovely to see the badger and the fox.
