Came across this today, what a spectacular sight (if you discount the loss). I didn't have my sound up so not sure what the commentary is like.

Brilliant link Littlewid. No matter how many times you see clips/videos of this, it never ceases to amaze me as being something so spectacular to witness. The sounds of the wildebeest and the harsh reality of how many get eaten, trampled and exhausted trying to get up the banks the other side. It makes you wonder why they just keep on coming and don't find an alternative crossing point.

It would be such a tragedy if this magnificent migration were ruined by the chinese building their road through the serengeti.

Lai it would be a complete travesty if that road gets built, to ruin one of the most natural wonders of the world would be sacrilege. To see them crossing is awesome, I would love to see it for real but then again i'm not sure my heart could deal with the loss of life, it's sad enough to see it on video but to see it with your own eyes would be too much for me, but i still believe it is a wonder that should not be disturbed by the building of a stupid road.
