Angus seems to have had a good breeding season for many species, which in turn means the raptors have done well.
Merlins seem to be everywhere as are more Kestrels than this time last year.Opreys and Harriers reared young so did our Golden Eagles.
Peregrines on the coast have done well and as usuall there's a Buzzard on nearly every fence post.
Not seen a Hobby this year, but I'm not sure they breed here.Owls are around in some numbers too,Barn Owls and Tawny Owls seen and Long Eared heard, not seen any Short Eared this year.I'm told some Goshawks have reared young too,not been up to see them yet.

It would be lovely if you could capture some of these amazing birds TB and share them with us. I was out walking last week and saw a juvenille buzzard but sadly didn't have my camera with me as I didn't know I was going to where I went, if that makes sense.

It's great news that our birds of prey are breeding so well.

It seems the Birds of Prey are doing really well up there TB, we have plenty of Buzzards here, and Kestrals, Sparrow Hawks plus some Peregrin Falcons, but you have to be really lucky to get a photo of them.
